Who we help
St Dunstan’s helps ex-Service men and women who have lost their sight, whatever the circumstances.
Some St Dunstaners lost their sight during active service, others experienced an accident on a training exercise, or suffered vision problems as a result of illness or old age.

Who qualifies?
There are just two criteria for a prospective St Dunstaner to fulfil in order to qualify for our help.
- Service in the UK forces at any time, in the Polish forces under British command or in the Merchant Navy during World War II. We also support the emergency services through The Diana Gubbay Trust for the Blind.
- Sufficient loss of vision to meet our guidelines.
If you would like to apply for help, or know someone who might benefit, more information can be found on How to become a St Dunstaner including details on our criteria and how to apply.
