The 2009 Challenge
The cadet challenge is growing every year and we wish the 2009 entrants the very best of luck. The whole team would like to thank those who participated in the 2008 event for their support.
Who’s on board for 2009?
Here are some of the entrants for the 2009 challenge:
- The winners of the 2008 competition,177 (Blackpool Airport) Squadron ATC are competing once again and have come up with a brilliant idea that sounds like it could be great fun!
- 2401 Dawlish Squadron ATC are taking part for the first time in 2009. They
are highly motivated and we wish them well. - No. 15 Detachment Brighton ACF have confirmed they are getting onboard this year. Some great ideas have been put forward by the cadets. Watch this space!
- Bournemouth School CCF are gearing up for their first foray in the competition.Good luck!
- Warwickshire and West Midland ACF plan to pull a barge along a canal,
negotiating locks along the way. It’s a difficult challenge which will need detailed planning. - The Metropolitan Volunteer Police Cadets are taking part once again and if they put in as much effort as they did in their 2007 event they will be a force to be reckoned with!
