There are three steps you need to follow to complete the Go the Distance cadet challenge. Simply follow the instructions below.

  1. Preparation
Every team will have a St Dunstaner to help them. Your special guest will help to get the challenge underway by coming and speaking to your unit about the work of St Dunstan’s, the support they have been given and how the Cadet Challenge will help. You can call on your St Dunstaner’s military experience and smart thinking for ideas and useful training tips.

If you have any questions you can ask your Cadet Challenge Project Officer, who will provide support as you prepare and complete the challenge.

  2. The Challenge
The Cadet Challenge Team will come and support you on the day you have set for your challenge. Where possible, your St Dunstaner will take part in the challenge with you. We can provide you with sponsorship forms and collecting buckets if you would like to raise money for the charity.

  3. The Results
All the challenges will be looked at closely by the Cadet Challenge team. We are looking for imaginative ideas, teamwork and determination. The winning team will be invited to our Annual National Award Presentation to receive the very impressive silver Go the Distance trophy. We will visit all participating units to present certificates and medals in recognition of your efforts.
