Peter Williams - Static Bike Challenge

Peter Williams

Peter served in the Army, but was medically discharged after receiving a stab wound to his right femoral artery. This injury caused severe complications, including the deterioration of his sight.  He was registered blind in 2005.  On Sunday 20th June 2010 Peter took on the challenge to ride 100km on a static bike in Brighton.  He completed this journey in 3 hours and 56 minutes raising over £400 for St Dunstan's!  To read more about Peter and to support him in this challenge please click here

Mike Scholes – North Pole Trek

Mike Scholes

Mike has been severely visually impaired since November 2007 when he had to give up his ballooning business.  He trekked to the North pole at the beginning of April 2010 and a week later participated in the Virgin London Marathon on 25th April!  To read more about both challenges and to support Mike in his efforts please click here

Jamie Cuthbertson - North Pole Marathon

Jamie Cuthbertson

Jamie was injured in an explosives accident, whilst serving as a Captain in the Royal Engineers in 1986, which left him totally blind.  In April 2010 he will be taking part in the North Pole Marathon and in May/June 2010 he will cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats with a colleague from work.  To find out more about challenges which Jamie is facing in both events and to support his efforts please click here

Matthew Rhodes – Brighton Challenge

Matthew Rhodes

Matthew joined the Army in 1992 and served in Germany, Canada and Bosnia. After surviving being shot and bombed in Bosnia, he had a motorbike accident in Germany which caused severe brain damage and sight loss.  Matthew completed the Brighton Marathon (26.2 miles) over two days in April 2010.  To read Matthew's amazing story and to support him in his challenge please click here
