In March 2009, St Dunstan's Nursing Department in Ovingdean became the first provider in the Brighton and Hove area to attain an excellent rating from the PCT.   
We are proud to say that in March 2010, for the second consecutive year, we were awarded an excellent rating by the Clinical Quality Review Nurse - Naomi Cornford.

On March 15th 2010, the Clinical Quality Review Nurse for the Brighton and Hove area visited St Dunstan's, met with the manager, spoke to staff, service users, and visitors as well as observing various care documents, and the home itself.

The report assessed seven areas of clinical quality, each area received a rating; these ratings were then used to determine the overall outcome of clinical quality for the home.  The ratings used are: Excellent, Good, Adequate or Poor.
