If you donate to St Dunstan’s and are a taxpayer, you can increase the value of your gift by allowing us to reclaim the basic tax. By signing up for Gift Aid, you can help us even more in our mission to give
St Dunstaner’s independent and rewarding lives.

How does it work?

Subject to a few rules, Gift Aid allows us to reclaim up to 28p tax in each pound back on your gift. A gift of £10 will be worth £12.80 to us if you’ve signed up for Gift Aid. If you are a higher rater taxpayer, you can claim relief on the difference between the basic and higher rate tax.

Which donations are eligible for Gift Aid?

We can claim Gift Aid from all donations, large or small, regular or one-off. Gift Aid applies to cash, cheques, postal orders, direct debits, standing orders, debit and credit cards, even payments in a foreign currency and sponsorship pledges are eligible.

What do I have to do?

Gift Aid costs you nothing. All you have to do is give us a written declaration that allows us to claim the tax back on any donations you make. For instance, if you follow the link to our online donation form, and tick the Gift Aid box, we can claim back the tax.
