When St Dunstan’s needed to appoint a new Welfare Officer to help the ever-increasing number of new St Dunstaners we are admitting to the charity, we approached the George A. Moore Foundation for help.

The Foundation generously awarded a St Dunstan’s a grant of £3,000 for our work with blind and seriously visually-impaired ex-Servicemen and women in West and South Yorkshire.

With this support we have been able to appoint a new Welfare Officer for the region and help over 100 local St Dunstaners lead an independent life notwithstanding their sight loss. Our sincere thanks to the Trustees of the George A. Moore Foundation for their support.
